Eric founded IFG Insurance in 2009. After working in the banking industry, Eric decided to embark on a new adventure by opening an independent insurance agency in Winterset, Iowa. His team has grown to include 12 employees in three locations – Winterset & Waukee, Iowa and Gilbert, Arizona. In his spare time, Eric enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, pickleball, and traveling.

After double majoring in Finance and Marketing at the University of Iowa, Chase has been in the industry since 2021. At IFG he works on both commercial and personal accounts, assisting in sales, quoting, and servicing those policies. Chase specializes in policy analysis and quoting, coverage presentation, and life insurance. Chase never misses an episode of Jeopardy and enjoys fishing, golfing – both disc and regular, and is a grill master!

Jon has been in the insurance industry since 2012, joining the IFG team in 2018. His background includes experience in banking and general business management. Jon’s main focus within IFG Insurance is with commercial clients. He enjoys playing cards and spending time with his best friend, who happens to be his lovely wife. Other interests are woodworking and cycling. In his youth, Jon could complete a Rubik’s Cube in under 30 seconds!

Taylor coaches high school girls basketball, enjoys watching sports, and hanging with her family and dog, Vixey. Taylor has also been featured on Food Network’s show Carnival Eats!

Jennifer joined the IFG Insurance team in 2020. As a personal lines agent, she focuses on property and casualty insurance. Her specialty is in accurate and thoughtful quoting and prioritizing customer service. She enjoys finding the right policy and premium to match clients’ needs. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with family, cheering on her kids at their sporting events, traveling, and crafting. Jennifer is a cruise aficionado and has been on 13 cruises in the last 20 years!

Angie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to IFG Insurance. She began her career in 1997 as an agent. Her journey brought her to the carrier side where she worked for Auto-Owners Insurance for 18 years. During her time there, she worked as an underwriter, supervisor, marketing representative, and trainer. She was enticed back to agency life by Eric when she joined IFG in 2019. Angie is IFG’s “Jack of All Trades” – the agency simply wouldn’t function without her! An avid sports fan, Angie also enjoys reading, music, coffee, taking care of her dog, cattle herd, and horses. And she even writes poetry!

Stephen has been part of the IFG family since 2019. As a full-time farmer in Madison County, he brings his knowledge and experience to the insurance industry. Stephen specializes in crop, hail, farm, and commercial agriculture insurance, as well as personal lines coverage. Stephen places a large focus on customer service and claims support. As both a former collegiate athlete for Central College, and an Assistant Winterset High School Football Coach, Stephen will tell you his most important role is as the father of his two boys. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching most any sporting event. He also loves spending time with his wife and family as well as traveling and trying new things.

Kenna was a teacher for 22 years when she decided to seek out opportunities outside the classroom. Acquiring her insurance license in 2019, Kenna serves in the capacity as a “helping hand” in the IFG offices. She sees herself as behind the scenes support for the wonderful IFG staff. Kenna spends a majority of her time working for the Iowa Cheerleading Coaches’ Association, where she has been the Executive Director since 2012. She also enjoys working out, baking, and joining Eric on his crazy wildlife adventures!

Macy essentially grew up in the insurance industry, so it was no surprise when she jumped in as an agent herself. Not only did she acquire her own license, she established the Arizona branch of IFG Insurance in November 2022. As the Arizona Agency Owner, she leads all aspects of its operations and management. Macy is a former NCAA Division 1 softball player and has had the opportunity to visit many states within the country. She enjoys relaxing by the pool, spending time with friends, attending church on Sundays, and traveling as often as she can.

Elisa joined the IFG Insurance team as Sales & Marketing Director in early 2026. She works out of the Arizona office and handles all things marketing related – social media, company newsletters, email campaigns, carrier advertising partnerships, our Google business profiles and IFG websites. An East coast transplant, Elisa is married and has two teenagers. Competitive soccer and dance rule their family’s world and schedules. An avid sports fan, Elisa achieved a childhood dream of working for ESPN! In the early 2000’s, you could find her working behind the scenes on SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight, and ESPNews.
